WOW, it has been ages since I've blogged. Life kind of got in the way. I promise to be better from this point forward!
First, I want to mention how much I love Swagbucks!!!!!!
At Christmas, I got my husband the entire first 5 seasons of Lost on DVD for FREE with Amazon gift cards I earned using Swagbucks.
All you do is sign up here.
You will earn 3 swagbucks just for signing up. Then, use the search engine just as you'd use google or yahoo. I use it to go to Facebook, my bank site, even blogspot!
You don't get bucks every time you search, but I usually get 2-6 a day. They add up very quickly!

What I bought with my $5/$25 coupon at Walgreens
-4 packages Keebler cookies - they were on sale for $2.50 each and if you bought $10 worth you got a $5 register reward (RR). I had 2-$1/2 coupons. (printable HERE or from the 8/2 RP insert)
-2 packages kids toothbrushes - $2 each
-2 packages (3 pack) Orbitz gum - clearanced - $2.19 each
-2 Listerene Berry Rinse for Kids - they were on sale for $4 each and if you bought 2 you get a $3 RR. I had a coupon for buy one get one free (BOGO) and a $1 coupon found here (BOGO manufacturer coupon from 8/2 SS insert)
-2 Reach toothbrushs and 1 Reach floss - they were originally $1.79. In the Walgreens flyer they had a coupon marking them to $.99 - limit 3. I had a BOGO free, plus 2-$1 coupons (8/2 SS insert)
-1 Walgreens brand childrens Ibuprofen - $4.99
-2 Carmex - they were BOGO - $2.99 (I thought I had a coupon for this, but couldn't find it)
-Pepto Bismol - $3.99
I had $3 in RR from my last visit. I used my $5/$25 coupon.
Here's the breakdown:
Total before taxes $43.63
WAG coupon savings $2.40
WAG Advertised savings $15.37
MFG coupon savings $22.32
Total savings $31.56
Total spent $22.32
RR earned for next time $8
Amount I'll get reimbursed through flexible spending acount (FSA) - $11.97
YAHOO!!
I was disppointed that they were sold out of Huggies wipes because I had some coupons.
And I had heard rumors that some of the children's Zyrtec was being clearanced and ringing up at $3.19 at some stores, but at mine they were ringing up at $12.99. Plus if you buy 2 Zyrtc products right now you get a $5 RR. If you want to read more about it and get a $3 coupon for Zyrtec products, check out Tracy's blog at $1200 Frugal Challange 2009.
Oh well, I still did pretty good!
I didn't take a picture. Next time I will try to remember!

Swagbucks
My family is slowly getting the hang of swagbucks. I have to remind my husband to use it, but when he does, he's thrilled with how many swagbucks he gets! Our goal is to buy a Wii for Christmas with what we have earned using swagbucks.
Haven't ever heard of swagbucks? Well, it's a search engine that pays you to search! Pretty cool, huh?
All you do is sign up here.
Then, make sure to go to swagbucks.com every day! You don't just have to use it for searching. Use it to get to your favorite sites like yahoo, the bank, my blog! You won't earn a swagbuck for each search, but I usually earn 1-3 by the 4th search every day!
It only takes 45 swagbucks to get a $5 gift card to Amazon!
Awesome, huh???
Caregivers Marketplace
Do you buy Huggies diapers or pull ups? Depends or Poise pads? How about Aspercreme or Icy Hot? Balmex?
Sign up here and you can receive cash back for most of these items.
Plus there are many more products listed!
Another Walgreens coupon!
Walgreens has another $5/$25 coupon. You can use it through Saturday, August 29.
Remember, must meet purchase amount of $25 before taxes and after all coupons and discounts.
